- Born in Hartford, Alabama in Geneva County.
- Has four brothers and four sisters.
- Was a cheerleader at Geneva County High School.
- Attended college in Montevello, Alabama.
- Was secretary to Superintendent of Education in Geneva County.
- Married her husband, Chalmers W. Anderson, in 1938. They were married in the same home where she was born. They had two daughters; one born in 1940 and one born in 1950.
- Her husband died in 1998. He was Sr. Aircraft Inspector at Warner Robbins, GA and owned Anderson Eq. Company in Macon. GA. Rosamond was the Parts Dept. Manager.
- They retired in 1969.
Do you visit a senior center?
Yes. Morgan County.
How long have you been attending the center? What made you start going to the center?
About six years. I heard about it and wanted to become active.
What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center?
Piano playing and exercising.
How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?
Meeting other people has helped my social life. We get out and see the beautiful area and go on trips.
Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?
Help with the music at Sr. Center and sing in the choir at Rutledge Baptist Church.
What advice would you give to young people today on how to live a good long life?
Be active everyday. Stay active.
