Tell us about your family and your accomplishments.

My husband has been deceased for eight years. I have two daughters, five grandchildren, and six great-grands. All of them have a college education and good jobs.

I was a hairdresser and owned my own shop. I'm a member of Dawson First Baptist Church, where I'm very active (nursery, choir, Sunday School, womens' group and Circle 2).

Yes, Dawson Senior Center.

About 13 years. I love the fellowship and being part of the Senior family helps the void in my life.

What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center?

Exercise, puzzles, education programs, and crafts.

How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

Our director, Joanne, is great. She is caring and sees that we have the attention we need.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

Yes, as much as I am able.
