Iwas married for 38 years. I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I worked many years and retired from Bank of Terrell in Dawson. My husband and I enjoyed dancing and were members of two square dance clubs. I was also a member of our local "Lady Liners, " a dance unit. I enjoyed every minute with these!

What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center?

The walking program, walking a mile 5 days a week, exercising, doing crafts, etc.

How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

At 86, I'm still very active. I can do what I want to do. I live alone and keep my house.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

Yes - I help lead exercises at the senior center.

Be active, exercise and walk everyday.

Ms. Kennedy used to do beautiful quilting. Her hands prevent her from quilting now, but she still does beautiful craft work.
