Tell us about your family and your accomplishments.

I have three sons, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. I write the Sr. Center news for the newspaper. I taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years.

Do you visit a senior center?

Yes, Dawson Senior Center.

How long have you been attending the center?

Six years - two came after my husband passed away. A friend asked me to come. I had given devotionals there also.

What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center?

Exercises, crafts, BINGO, fellowship, devotionals, educational programs, and meals.

How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

Exercises make me stronger.
Devotionals aid my spiritual life.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

Yes.

What advice would you give to young people today on how to live a good long life?

Go to church
Love our Heavenly Father
Pray
Eat right
Exercise
Live by the 10 commandments
