I have lived in Forsyth County my entire life. I have 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren with 2 more expected before Christmas.

Do you visit a senior center?

Yes, Forsyth County Senior Center.

How long have you been attending the center?

14 years. After my husband passed away I need to get involved in activities.

Exercise, Bingo, Mexican Train Dominoes, Trips

How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

It keeps me busy!
I participated in the Live Healthy Georgia - Seniors Taking Charge study and lost 8 pounds and down 2 clothing sizes.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

At the senior center I volunteer setting up and calling Bingo and help serve in the kitchen. I also volunteer at the Coal Mountain Elementary School.

What advice would you give to young people today on how to live a good long life?

Stay active - don't sit down with folded hands.
