Tell us about your family and your accomplishments.

  • My mother had nine children (eight boys and one girl). They are all deceased, except me. I have no children.

Do you visit a senior center?

  • Yes, the Albany Site #1 Senior Center.

How long have you been attending the center?

  • I have attended a senior center for 28 years. I have been attending Site #1 for several months and love it.

What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center?

  • Quilting and exercise.

How has center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

  • It gives me a reason to get up and go somewhere everyday.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

  • Quilting, when I can.
What advice would you give to young people today on how to live a good long life?
