Until We Meet Again
by Darrell Stone
When the curtain falls on weekends
We say good bye to each good friend
Get ready to do our chores
Sleep and rest behind closed doors
With the Center closed we must find
Some good way to occupy our mind
Go fishing or go to town
Or just leisurely hang around
Or just think of some good deed
We could do for some in need
Put the helpless on a feather bed
And smooth the path where others tread
A cheerful giver should never lament
For their time is all well spent
When their good work is all done
Go to rest with life’s setting sun
Patience pays a rich reward
For those who wait upon the Lord
