Tell us about your family and your accomplishments.
I have three children - two daughters and one son. My children encourage me to stay active and involved in my community. I was an educator for 37 years. I was able to mold and help thousands of students become better citizens.
Do you visit a senior center?
Yes. Heritage Senior Center.
How long have you been attending the center?
Three years.
What made you start going to the center?
My son and daughter-in-law encouraged me to visit the center and when I did I JUST LOVED IT!
What kinds of activities do you enjoy at the center

- Arts and Crafts
- Cards and Games
- Exercise Classes
- Dances
How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?
By taking the exercise classes, I have increased my flexibility and walking endurance. Therefore, I have been able to walk more while shopping and going about my daily chores.
Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?
I volunteer at my church for Vacation Bible School and summer camp.
What advice would you give to young people today on how to live a good long life?
Stay active and look for the positive thing in life.
