I was born in Newton County, Georgia on 12-27-1930. I am now 75 years old. I have 2 sons, 2 daughters. With their spouses, it makes me the mother of 8. I am Grandmother of 11 and Great-Grandmother of 10.

I am exercising more, and eating healthier. I am not on a bunch of medications. I am thankful for my family and I take life one day at a time.

Do you visit a senior center?

Yes, Newton County.

How long have you been attending the center?

Since 2001. It is a nice place for seniors. I just love it.

How has the center helped you Age Well and Live Well?

Move without pain.

Do you volunteer at your senior center or at other community organizations?

Yes.

Stay in school. Stay away from gangs, drugs, alcoholic drinks, go to church, be kind to everyone.
